Together with the Ukrainian NGO All-Ukrainian Foundation for Children’s Rights, Defence for Children International Netherlands is trying to improve the legal position of children in the Ukraine. Defence for Children promotes the development of the juvenile justice system in the Ukraine, amongst others by organizing training sessions for judges, lawyers, policemen, social workers and policy makers. The project has started in December 2005 and runs until end 2008.
